Ever since Shur'tugal.com has been posting monthly Q&A sessions with Mr. Paolini, questions are being answered, and hints about Book 4 arise.
From elf body-changing, to the philosophy of magic, Paolini answers them all (or at least most of them). In a question about the Rock of Kuthian, CP replied: Any and all questions concerning the Rock of Kuthian have to wait until after Book IV is released. It's too spoilerrific for me to talk about it.
So we know that RoK has a very important part in the last book, but we already knew that. He also confirmed that Jarnunvösk, Galbatorix's original dragon was female.
That said, CP also said he would like try a prequel of Brom, but later, as he would "like to try my hand at some other projects". He mentioned that he had a plot for a potential fifth book in the cycle, saying, "Events may prove me wrong, but at the moment, I think I would be more likely to write a sequel to the Inheritance cycle than a prequel. I've already thought up a plot for a potential fifth book, and I've been laying the groundwork for it in the Inheritance cycle (I plan a long way ahead)."

Nerve-racking, eh? Guess we'll have to wait for next month for another interview!
May your swords stay sharp, Inheriwiki!
Please keep your comments civil, short, to the point, and good. Thank you!
