Torkenbrand

Torkenbrand was a slaver who hunted in the Beor Mountains and Hadarac Desert. He would capture travelers and sell them in the large cities of the Empire. When he tried to arrest Eragon Shadeslayer and Murtagh in the Hadarac Desert, his men were frightened away by Saphira. In the hurry to escape, he was struck in the temple by a javelin. Murtagh then decapitated him to "eliminate the threat."
