The Horns of a Dilemma is the 49th chapter of Eragon. It takes the point of view of Eragon.
Summary
A shocked Eragon, still reeling from Murtagh's revalation that he was the son of Morzan (the first wielder of Eragon's sword Zar'roc) feels threatened as Morzan was slain by Brom. Saphira claims that Murtagh means him no harm, but the Urgals and their Kull warchief attack in the Skirmish outside Farthen Dûr. They are rescued at the last moment by the dwarves and a mysterious bald man who threatens Murtagh.
