Articles for chapters[]

We're doing articles for chapters now? Red Head Rider 00:41, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

We could. :P Actually, I think the main reason that Deathwatch was created was to state the significance of the dream and how it may relate to future events that may happen in Book 3. G.He(Talk!) 00:47, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
We could move it to a more specific title if needed. G.He(Talk!) 00:48, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
"I'm not against having articles for chapters. It might help expand the wiki. But I think we should go all the way, or not at all. Red Head Rider 23:50, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
The dream definitely is related to the prophecy. The common symbol (the moon) associated with the same event is proof enough of this. I think we need a direct quote of the dream like the one for the prophecy. --TatharNuar 20:16, April 19, 2010 (UTC)

Significance[]

The following material was moved from the page for the article. Since it's not attached to any particular other, but rather a general bit of speculation, I'm putting here rather than the forum, though if somebody feels it would be better there, they can move it.

The dream is the subject of much debate among fans. It appears to foretell an event in Inheritance. One possible interpretation is that the two people were Eragon and Arya, and the dragons were Saphira and the unnamed green dragon or Thorn without Murtagh. They are believed to be departing for Alalëa, the ancestral home of the elves. The man on the shore is thought to be either Murtagh, Roran or Fäolin. This interpretation both confirms the prophecy made by Angela and the possibility that Saphira will find a mate.

Another possibility is that Angela and/or Tenga turn out to be descendants of the Grey Folk and they decide to go back to their homeland, leaving Eragon on the shore.
