Svarvok was possibly the Urgal God of war. He was mentioned by Yarbog, an Urgal of the Varden, in the Brisingr chapter Butting Heads after his fight with Roran regarding the treatment of prisoners.

In a deleted scene included in the Deluxe Edition of Brisingr, Svarvok is the father of Ahno the Trickster. He forged iron rungs to climb Yngla Mountain in order to steal back a magic spear stolen from him by the dragon Ënurfala. When he discovered that his son had chosen to live as a deer, he was disappointed and set a pack of wolves to pursue him.
