Inheritance Icon

Shadows on the Horizon is the 3rd chapter of Inheritance. It takes place from the point of view of Eragon.

SummaryEdit

After Eragon, Arya, and Blödhgarm find and help Roran by the fallen wall, the group heads through the castle in search of Lord Bradburn, finding him and other guards in a tower. Upon entering, Eragon kills a few guards before the rest surrender, and Arya gains control of Bradburn's mind, putting him to sleep. The chapter ends with Eragon and Arya looking down over Belatona towards a group of werecats that are approaching.
