My Friend, My Enemy is the 19th chapter of Inheritance. It takes the point of view of Roran.

SummaryEdit

Roran wakes up in the middle of the night as an intruder enters his tent. The two fight and Roran kills the other man who continually claims to be a friend. Outside, Roran talks with his men who begin to search the camp for other assassins. Carn finds a cut across Roran's chest and then heals the wound with magic.
