Muscle Against Metal is the 67th chapter of Inheritance. It takes the point of view of Roran.

SummaryEdit

Lord Barst fights against hundreds of Varden, Urgals, Elves, and Dwarves, empowered by the strength of an Eldunari in his armour. After a spectacular show of magic on both sides, Barst and Queen Islanzadi duel in sigle combat. He cuts her down after a brief duel. Then, Roran and all the other forces attack him at once with ballista and rocks, and then Roran gets him in a bear-hug, crushing him. Barst dies, and Roran loses consiouness.
