Inheriwiki talk:Awards
From Inheriwiki, the ever-growing Inheritance database
How about considering an Oromis Award? The idea of it being the equivalent of the Zen Garden Award for Infinite Patience on Wikipedia: "It may be awarded to an editor who has shown extraordinary patience in the face of toil or turmoil." I think that this image is appropriate, representing Glaedr:
Perhaps it might be deemed too similar to the Outstanding Inheriwikian Award, though this one is more specific.
On a side note, the Star Sapphire Award should technically be red. Not that that's very important. Rinion 19:32, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Licensing
I noticed that Image:Oromis-award.jpg is tagged as copyrighted. So does that mean Image:Award.jpg is also copyrighted? (Is the eye copyrighted, or no?) G.He(Talk!) 20:38, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
- The eye itself was drawn by Christopher Paolini, and photoshopped by his sister, for the original cover of Eragon. The fading border was added by someone else, possibly Kumarhk. I gave the Oromis Award image as copyrighted because of the original drawing, although I've re-coloured the eye and border. R-ĪηĪOη- 05:02, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
