Igualda Falls

Igualda Falls was a waterfall on the edge of The Spine near Carvahall, and was half a mile high. Sloan's wife, Ismira, was in The Spine picking wild flowers when she accidentally slipped and fell off of the top of the waterfall. This is why Sloan despises the area and may be related to why he dislikes selling meat to Eragon's family. When most of the villiagers leave to stay in the spine they stay near this area. That is why Katrina ended up having to choose between Roran and Sloan (her father).That may have even caused Sloan to betray the villiagers to the Ra'zac.
