Hûndfast was a dwarf of Dûrgrimst Ingeitum who translated for Eragon during his stay in Tronjheim in Brisingr. He accompanied Eragon during the clan-meets and when Eragon went into below Tronjheim to inform the mother of one of his guards of his death. However, she spoke Eragon's tongue and the translator was not needed. Hûndfast did not accompany Eragon to Orik's coronation.
