Giant

Giants were a legendary race of beings believed to be ancient, possibly the first, inhabitants of Alagaësia. The dwarves believed that the giants rebelled against the gods long before the other races came into being. In a fierce battle between the two sides, the giants were defeated by Guntera and the other gods, and their bones were used to create the Beor Mountains.

Also, the dwarves classified humans and elves as giants, due to the difference in height.
