Dauth was a city southwest of Alagaësia and west from Surda. In Eldest, the villagers of Carvahall stopped here before proceeding up the Jiet River to assist the Varden in the Battle of The Burning Plains.
Katrina considered going there after her child was born, but she and Roran decided instead that she would go to Aberon.
