- The fact that Angela states that Eragon will live a long life hints that Eragon will kill Galbatorix.
- Angela predicts that Eragon will love someone "of noble birth and heritage. She is powerful, wise, and beautiful beyond compare." Arya fits the prophecy, because she is an elf princess, powerful by way of being an elf and by being a magic user, wise by virtue of being 100 years old, and beautiful beyond compare by way of Eragon declaring her elven beauty. Nasuada fits the prophecy, because she is the daughter raised by the noble man Ajihad, former leader of the Varden; powerful by way of being Commander of the Allied Army, leader of the Varden, Warlord of the Wandering Tribes, and leigelord of a Dragon Rider; wise by way of her proven decision-making and declarations of wisdom from a dragon Saphira, elves Arya and Blodgharm, urgal Nar Garzhvog, and by Eragon himself; beautiful beyond compare by way of Eragon acknowledging her striking appearance and by way of Eragon comparing Saphira to Nasuada, as he regards Saphira as "more beautiful than any living creature."
